Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund on purchases made through Celestype (celestype.com), operated by Aurum Ocean Intelligence Ltd (金海匯智能), a company registered in Hong Kong ("Aurum Ocean Intelligence", "we", "us", or "our").
It applies to all digital goods and paid features offered through the Service, including one-time AI-generated reports and any other paid add-ons we may offer from time to time. This Refund Policy is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
How Reports Are Delivered
Our AI-generated reports are not pre-made files sitting in a warehouse — each report is produced on demand, specifically for you, from the birth data and assessment answers you provide at the time of purchase.
Because the report is generated and made available to you at the moment of purchase, it is treated as delivered and consumed at that point, in the same way as other instantly-delivered digital content such as e-books or downloadable software. This is different from physical goods, or services performed over an extended period, and it is the reason our ability to offer refunds for digital goods is limited, as explained in the next section.
Refund Conditions & Window
Digital reports, once generated, are treated as delivered and consumed; except where required by applicable law, purchases are refundable in full at any time before your report is generated, and are no longer refundable once the report has been generated and made available to you.
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any statutory or consumer-protection rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country or region, including any cooling-off period or right to a refund for digital content that cannot be limited or waived by agreement. Where those laws grant you stronger rights than this policy, those laws control.
If you paid for a report but, due to a genuine technical failure on our part, it was never generated or made available to you, you are entitled to a full refund. Please contact us as described below so we can investigate and resolve the issue, whether by re-delivering your report or issuing a refund.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@celestype.com. To help us locate your purchase and respond as quickly as possible, please include:
- The email address used to make the purchase, and/or your order or transaction ID.
- The approximate date and amount of the payment.
- A brief description of the issue, or the reason for your refund request.
We will acknowledge your request and let you know the outcome, or ask for any further information we need, as soon as reasonably possible.
Processing Time
If your refund is approved, we will notify you by email and submit it for processing back to your original payment method. Processing times are largely determined by your card issuer, bank, or payment provider rather than by us; once we submit an approved refund, it typically appears in your account within a reasonable period, commonly within 5–10 business days, though your bank may in some cases take longer to reflect the credit.
Role of Our Payment Provider
Payments for the Service are processed by a third-party payment provider that acts as the merchant of record (or an authorized reseller) for your purchase, as described in our Terms of Service. That provider may handle the mechanics of processing an approved refund on our behalf, including crediting your original payment method.
This Refund Policy does not limit or replace any rights you may have to dispute a charge directly with your card issuer or bank under the applicable card scheme's chargeback rules. Those rights exist in addition to, and are unaffected by, the refund process described here.
